Sharon was featured in the South Bend Regional Museums "Materials Regional" exhibition with a selection of ten ceramic pieces including cast glass and bronze sculptural works of art from her "Biophilia " plantform series. The forms are based on all the plants she has encountered and studied over many years of exploration of the various rainforest areas of Latin America. The initial detailed studies of the various plant species become an inherent resource of information that is distilled into archtypical and iconic forms of plant imagey that seems equally fantastic and yet familiar.
