Form & Flora - Biophilia Biofeedback

Form & Flora - Biophilia Biofeedback

Sharon created a new installation, "Biophilia-Biofeedback" for the 'Form in Flora" show held at the Garfield Park Conservatory. As a co-curator, she worked with other regional artists including Vivian Visser to help craft the exhibitions that took advantage of the various natural environments within the building. "Biophilia-Biofeedback" was comprised of a selection of low fire ceramic plant forms that were clustered about a small reflection pool. A brain composed of beeswax floating at the center with extended wires that metamorphacalogically transform to brass leaves that 'communicate' with the surronding environment of plants and plantforms.
